Steel Guitar PRO offers a sophisticated guitar processor merging cutting-edge real-time audio generation with an exceptionally expressive control interface. The software boasts diverse guitar models, integrated amps & FX processing, MIDI control, AUv3 support, and extensive customization options.

Control Surface:

• The powerful and intuitive control interface of Steel Guitar PRO allows users to simulate picking by touching the strings and modulate pitch by moving the slide bar. Enhanced slide control enables advanced techniques such as tilting the slide bar with multiple touches or dampening strings. Users can customize fretboard dimensions, string spacing, pick guard size, and enjoy precise pitch control and lifelike vibrato. Settings offer flexibility in adjusting guitar tone, sustain and release times, touch behavior, slide bar controls, handedness, and more.

Guitars:

• Steel Guitar PRO offers a wide selection of guitars including various humbuckers, single coils, P90s, and more. Users can access numerous 6-string guitars, as well as 8- and 10-string steel guitar variations. Each instrument category features multiple tunings to choose from or allows users to create and save custom tunings. Additionally, users can utilize up to seven virtual "pedals" to bend individual or groups of strings akin to a pedal steel. Pedals can be controlled by device tilting, MIDI input, or even fretting touch gestures—all configurable by the user.

Built-In FX Processing:

• Steel Guitar PRO integrates a virtual signal chain enabling the placement of amps and FX in various combinations. The software includes a dozen amps and 20 FX presets meticulously crafted to extract optimal tones from the guitar processor. Each amp or effect provides multiple parameters for precise tone adjustments that can be MIDI-mapped for external control. The diverse amp collection spans from pristine cleans to powerful overdrive tones, while the FX options encompass analog-inspired pedals like overdrives, distortions, mods, delays, reverbs, among others.

AUv3 & MIDI Support:

• Steel Guitar PRO is also compatible as an AUv3 MIDI plugin featuring a custom MIDI sub-protocol facilitating seamless integration within AUv3 hosts. Users have the option to play Steel Guitar PRO using a traditional MIDI keyboard or device with support for MIDI pitch & mod wheels and key velocity adjustments.

• Steel Guitar PRO includes a comprehensive preset management system for saving, editing, and sharing user-defined rigs. The standalone app incorporates a versatile "tape deck" for recording, playback, looping, and audio import/export functionalities. The MIDI learn feature offers intuitive configuration options along with deep customization possibilities. All audio processing is maintained at the highest resolution without resampling at rates up to 96kHz. The user-friendly interface seamlessly integrates with numerous AUv3 hosts for enhanced usability.
